Our back issues are very affordably priced. We tend to stay far below the suggestions made by the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and/or Wizard Magazine. In general, we do not specialize in carrying novelty back issues (such as autographed copies or foil covers) marked up to speculator prices. While we are more than happy to order any version of a new comic for a subscriber, we would prefer to carry 10 different independent titles rather than 1 comic with multiple covers. Usually, all variant covers of new comics are given to as many of our subsribers as possible, instead of being put up for sale. Phantom of the Attic in Oakland encourages the public to read and enjoy comics without being distracted by gimmicky packaging! If you are looking for back issues of any comic published after 1972 (or selections from our silver age stock), why not try sending a request to our warehouse? Until our order form is uploaded and running, Please send us email with your requests (be sure to include quantity, title, volume, issue number); we'll respond no later than one week after receiving your request with prices and available quanties! All prices will be for comics in near mint condition unless you are notified otherwise. Shipping in the United States will usually be by Priority Mail: Postage for 10 comics (each in a polypropylene bag with a backing board) will be $4.00. These packages should arrive in four days. When sending by Priority Mail, we cannot track nor insure your order. For large and/or expensive purchases, we can ship by United Parsel Service or Federal Express. Shipping to Canada or Western Europe will usually be by Global Priority Mail: Postage for 10 comics (each in a polypropylene bag with a backing board) will be approximately $14.00. These packages should arrive in seven to ten days. When sending by Priority Mail, we cannot track nor insure your order. For large and/or expensive purchases, we can ship by United Parsel Service or Federal Express.
